Devold Expedition Merino 235 Zip Neck W's Black is a women's double-layer merino wool base layer top that provides effective thermal insulation and moisture management. The construction has been used and tested on several polar expeditions.
The inner layer of 100% soft merino wool feels comfortable against the skin. The outer layer, made from 90% Aquaduct-treated merino wool, transports moisture away from the body towards the outer surface, where it can evaporate.
The 10% polyamide content in the outer layer improves durability and helps extend the garment's lifespan. The double-layer material takes advantage of merino wool's natural temperature-regulating properties even when damp.
Raglan sleeves, flat seams and an extended back improve freedom of movement and help reduce chafing. Double cuffs retain their shape, while wrist warmers with thumbholes protect the wrists.
The Total Easy Care treatment allows machine washing and tumble drying in accordance with the manufacturer's care instructions.
