Victron Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger - a highly efficient 15A DC-DC charger between the starter battery and the 24V battery of the bow-mount trolling motor. As the amount of electronics in modern boats increases, a DC-DC charger is often also needed to support the charging of the electronics battery. This charger is a professional DC-DC charger with an adaptive 3-stage charging function and built-in wireless Bluetooth connectivity. It is suitable for dual battery systems in boats where the alternator and the starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth, and it can also be controlled remotely with a remote on/off switch. The charger features engine running detection. This Victron Orion-Tr Smart charger is used in 12-24 V systems and is suitable for charging both lead-acid and lithium batteries.

Please note that you can also install the DC-DC charger between a lithium starter battery and a lithium target battery, because the engine running detection stops the charging when the engine is switched off. You can also easily set the limit values high enough so that the lithium starter battery is not drained if the load on the battery is greater than the charging power of the engine.

Suitable for use in high temperatures up to 55 °C, with full rated output up to 40 °C.

Please note:

• You can use the charger for AGM and LiFePO4 lithium batteries
• The maximum charging current of the battery is high enough for this DC-DC charger
• The terminals of the charger are open, so always install the charger in a place protected from water

• Do not use this charger with Rebelcell lithium batteries. Rebelcell lithium batteries have their own Rebelcell Range Extender DC-DC charger.
