The Blue Smart IP67 Waterproof Charger is the new professional battery charger with built-in Bluetooth. The Blue Smart IP67 Waterproof Charger can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles, such as (classic) cars; motorbikes; boats and camper-vans.

Recovery of deeply-discharged 'dead' batteries
Unlike other brands, the Blue Smart IP67 Charger Waterproof will attempt to recharge a deeply-discharged battery by force-feeding it with a low current. Normal charging will then be resumed as soon as there is sufficient voltage across the battery terminals.

Check the status of your battery remotely
Blue Smart IP67 Charger Waterproof is equipped with built-in Bluetooth, so the status of the charger and the battery can be checked on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. All settings of the charger can be configured with the VictronConnect app.

Victron chargers were originally designed for professional use, but they have become very popular among all users. The Blue Smart IP67 charger can be used for boat batteries, car batteries and leisure batteries, in workshops, in caravans and of course with motorcycles. One of the biggest advantages of Victron chargers is that they are suitable for practically all battery types, such as lithium, lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries. The only exception is Rebelcell lithium batteries, which must always be charged with Rebelcell's own chargers.

• Victron IP67 12V 25A is a fully waterproof charger with a metal housing, perfectly suited for permanent installation in boats, and it withstands direct impacts, vibration and the pounding of waves very well. The 25A output is very high and this charger is recommended for lithium batteries from 12V 75Ah upwards. Also suitable for Victron and Optima BlueTop AGM batteries.

High-quality, sturdy connectors
The charger comes with M8 ring terminals, making it very easy to connect to the battery. If you wish, you can connect the charger to the battery permanently.

High-efficiency "green" battery charger
With an efficiency of 95%, these chargers generate four times less heat than the industry standard. Once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to 0.5 watts, five times less than the industry standard.

Durable, safe and silent

• Low thermal stress on electronic components.
• Protection against dust, water and chemicals.
• Overheating protection: output current is reduced as the temperature rises, but the charger continues charging up to a temperature of 60 degrees
• The chargers are completely silent - no cooling fans.

Reconditioning (lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries)
A lead-acid battery that has been insufficiently charged or left discharged for days or even weeks may be destroyed by sulphation (lead sulphate formed during discharge recrystallises). If the battery is connected to the charger in time, sulphation can in some cases be partly prevented by charging the battery with a low current and a higher voltage.

Recovery function for fully discharged batteries (lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries)
Most chargers with reverse polarity protection do not recognise a battery that has been discharged to zero or near-zero voltage and therefore do not start charging. The Blue Smart charger first tries to charge a fully discharged battery with a low current and continues with normal charging once the battery terminal voltage has risen high enough.

Storage mode: less corrosion of the positive plates (lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries)
Even a low float charge causes corrosion of the positive plates. If the battery remains connected to the charger for more than 48 hours, it is essential to reduce the charge voltage even further, below the float level.

Temperature-compensated charging (lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries)
The optimal charge voltage of a lead-acid battery is inversely proportional to the temperature: the lower the temperature, the higher the charge voltage, and vice versa. The Blue Smart charger measures the ambient temperature during the test phase and compensates the charging accordingly. The temperature is measured again when the charger is in float or storage mode. Special settings for cold or hot environments are therefore not needed.

Li-ion battery mode
The Blue Smart charger uses a dedicated charging algorithm for Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries, with automatic reset of the Li-ion voltage protection.

VictronConnect app
Set up, monitor and configure your Blue Smart IP67 charger with your smartphone. You can view the status of your charger and battery and control the charger's functions with the VictronConnect app. By default, the display shows the voltage and current readings.
