Victron AGM Deep Cycle Battery 12v/100ah M6
The Victron 100Ah is a highly efficient battery, ideal for bow-mount trolling motor use. With this battery it is also easy to build an extremely powerful 24V system.
AGM: design life 7-10 years
The AGM range has very low internal resistance, making them particularly suitable for high current discharge applications such as inverters, bow thrusters and winches, as well as engine starting.
The use of high purity materials and lead calcium grids ensures that both AGM and GEL products have particularly low self-discharge, so that they will not go flat during long periods without charge. The AGM 100Ah model is supplied with M6 drilled, flat copper terminals ensuring the best possible connection contact and eliminating the need for battery terminals. The batteries are compliant with both CE and UL specifications in ABS fireproof containers and come with Victron's 2 year world-wide warranty.
Please note that AGM batteries should always be charged with a sufficiently powerful charger. We recommend the Victron 17A charger, which is an excellent charger for both charging and maintenance. Even if an AGM battery "goes flat", a sufficiently powerful charger can bring the battery back up and revive it. A low-power maintenance charger will damage the battery if it does not have enough power to bring the battery back up. Always use chargers of at least 10A. If the charger is permanently installed in the boat, make sure that there is no flammable material in the immediate vicinity of the charger and that air can circulate around it. The charger heats up when it is running at full capacity.
