Victron AGM Deep Cycle Battery - these batteries are true powerhouses, especially as starter batteries for boats, but they are also very well suited as batteries for electronics and bow-mount trolling motors.
- Available in three sizes:
Victron 12V 60Ah is an excellent starter battery solution, especially for small boats. Durable and efficient.
Victron 12V 90Ah is a great large starter battery to which you can also connect more electronics, as its capacity is considerably greater than that of a traditional starter battery. This battery is also excellent for bow-mount trolling motor use.
Victron 12V 110Ah is a large starter battery that can power a considerable amount of electronics.
- Average design life of Victron AGM batteries 7-10 years
- The batteries come with Victron's 2 year world-wide warranty.
- If your bow-mount trolling motor or electronics run on a lithium battery, we recommend installing a Victron Cyrix-Li-CT charging relay between the AGM starter battery and the lithium target battery, so that the batteries work as one. Thanks to the On-Off switch, you can activate the Start Assist function and use the power of the lithium battery to help with starting. The charging relay also charges the lithium target battery while driving, so you stay powered throughout the fishing day!
You can find the Victron Cyrix-Li-CT charging relay in the chargers section.
The AGM range has very low internal resistance, making them particularly suitable for high current discharge applications such as inverters, bow thrusters and winches, as well as engine starting.
The use of high purity materials and lead calcium grids ensures that both AGM and GEL products have particularly low self-discharge, so that they will hardly discharge even during long periods without charge. For example, the AGM 12V 90Ah model is supplied with M6 drilled, flat copper terminals ensuring the best possible connection contact and eliminating the need for battery terminals. The batteries are compliant with both CE and UL specifications in ABS fireproof containers.
Please note that AGM batteries should always be charged with a sufficiently powerful charger. We recommend the Victron 17A charger, which is an excellent charger for both charging and maintenance. Even if an AGM battery "goes flat", a sufficiently powerful charger can bring the battery back up and revive it. A low-power maintenance charger will damage the battery if it does not have enough power to bring the battery back up. Always use chargers of at least 10A. If the charger is permanently installed in the boat, make sure that there is no flammable material in the immediate vicinity of the charger and that air can circulate around it. The charger heats up when it is running at full capacity.
