Hydra Skypoint GPS 24V 80 lbs 60" is a 24-volt GPS bow-mount trolling motor combining GPS anchoring, heading lock, route navigation and GPS cruise control. The motor is designed to make boat handling easier for both casting and trolling.
The GPS anchor keeps the boat in the selected position, and the unit can store up to 16 anchor points. The route function allows you to save and replay up to 16 routes, each with a maximum length of 5 km.
The motor delivers 80 lb of thrust and features a 60-inch composite shaft and a 3-blade propeller. Thanks to its thrust and long shaft, this model is suitable for medium-sized fishing boats. The indicative boat size is approximately 4.0-5.5 m and under 700 kg, although the final sizing is also affected by the boat's design, windage and operating conditions.
The wireless remote control with display allows you to monitor the function, boat speed, motor battery voltage and remote control battery level. The remote control uses three AAA batteries, which are not included.
The motor is supplied with an approximately 2 m connection cable with forklift connectors. The recommended battery capacity for a 24 V system is 60-120 Ah, and a 60 A fuse is recommended between the cable and the battery. Maximum current consumption is 50 A.
Hydra Skypoint is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater use. The black freshwater version features a corrosion-preventing zinc anode.
