Garmin Force Kraken Quick Release Plate System - a quick release mount designed for the Garmin Force Kraken bow-mount trolling motor. This very sturdy, high-quality quick release mount lets you install your trolling motor quickly and easily and remove it from the boat. The very sturdy latch can be locked with a padlock if needed. Parts for attaching the trolling motor to the mount and the mount to the boat are included, but note that every boat is unique, so you may need to replace the bolts that go into the boat.
We recommend installing a side mount plate on the boat and attaching the quick release mount to it. This moves the trolling motor away from the centre of the bow, and in the stowed position the shaft does not come inside the boat. The quick release mount is also easy to attach when it is mounted on a side mount plate.
