The product design of Saxa GPS motors has specifically taken into account the Finnish boat fleet and Finnish conditions. All bow electric motors are so-called "saltwater resistant", meaning the motors are designed to withstand the low-salinity water of the Baltic Sea without issues. The rig tubes of Salt motors are 60'' long, making them well-suited for the high-bowed Finnish boat fleet and the deep waves of the Baltic Sea.
Installation services and spare part/maintenance promise for bow electric motors
Saxa bow electric motors come with a 2-year warranty. All electrical components of Saxa motors are replaceable, and after the warranty period, parts are available as spare parts. Saxa and Ruoto promise spare part availability, for example for the GPS unit or motherboard, at least until 2030.

Through us, over a thousand bow motors have already been installed in Finnish boats, so we can certainly assist with the matter. Our largest subcontractor for installation services is Boaty Oy, located in Riihimäki, which offers "turnkey" installation services.
