Deeper Smart Sonar CHIRP+ 4 is a castable fish finder for shore, boat, kayak and ice fishing. It combines three-frequency CHIRP sonar, built-in GPS and AI-powered fish detection in a compact 94 g unit that sends sonar data to the Fish Deeper smartphone app over Wi-Fi.
Choose between narrow 675 kHz / 7 degrees, medium 240 kHz / 20 degrees and wide 100 kHz / 47 degrees CHIRP beams. The narrow beam provides target separation down to 1 cm, helping distinguish individual fish and targets close to the bottom. Scanning depth ranges from 15 cm to 100 m, with up to 15 scans per second.
CHIRP+ 4 uses AI to interpret scan data and identify fish, reducing the need to rely only on raw sonar returns. The app also supports personal depth maps plus bottom-hardness and vegetation mapping in 2D and 3D. This makes the unit useful both for finding fish and for learning unfamiliar water.
Wi-Fi range is up to 120 m depending on the smartphone and conditions. Built-in positioning supports shore mapping and multiple satellite systems. The integrated temperature sensor measures water temperature with approximately +/- 0.2 C accuracy. Operating temperature is -20...+40 C.
Battery life is up to 9 hours with GPS on and up to 15 hours with GPS off. USB-C fast charging reaches about 80% in 60 minutes and 100% in 110 minutes. The box includes the CHIRP+ 4 sonar, USB cable, hard case, two attachment bolts, quick guide, safety information and Night Fishing Cover.
