Loading file list...Sig Sauer TANGO-MSR 1-8x24 SFP BDC-8 is a 1-8x LPVO that offers more top-end magnification than a traditional 1-6x model while retaining fast 1x use. It is particularly well suited to dynamic range shooting and general-purpose AR/MSR-style rifles.
The illuminated MSR BDC-8 reticle is located in the second focal plane. Its apparent size does not change with magnification, keeping the sight picture easy to read throughout the magnification range. Illumination has 11 brightness levels and is powered by a CR2032 battery.
At 1x magnification, the manufacturer-specified field of view is 124.8 ft / 100 yd, or approximately 41.6 m / 100 m. At 8x magnification, the field of view is approximately 6.5 m / 100 m. Eye relief is approximately 100-95 mm, providing plenty of working distance in different shooting positions.
The High Performance 8x optical system uses low-dispersion glass. The scope has a 30 mm main tube, 100 MOA of total elevation and windage travel, and 44 MOA of adjustment per turret revolution. A threaded throw lever makes it easier to move quickly from low to high magnification.
Length is approximately 267 mm and weight approximately 527 g. The package includes an ALPHA-MSR one-piece aluminium cantilever mount and low-profile flip-back lens covers. According to the manufacturer, the construction is waterproof, shock-resistant and fog-proof.
