MDT Picatinny Rail 5" for Accessory Scope Ring Caps is a Picatinny rail that mounts above the scope on MDT Accessory Scope Ring Caps. It is ideal for mounting weapon mounted laser rangefinders and IR illuminators.
The rail sits 25.4 mm above the top of the ring caps and is cut to clear most scopes with objectives up to 56 mm. Overall length is 119 mm with 73 mm of mounting surface and seven cross slots. The rail can also be used as a scope guard and top hand rest when shooting in position.
The rail follows the STANAG 4694 rail profile. An integral recoil lug and offset mounting holes keep attached accessories from shifting under recoil, and mounting screws are included.
