MDT Oryx Chassis Rem 700 SA LH is a left-handed aluminum chassis for Remington 700 short action rifles. It is designed to upgrade a factory rifle for precision shooting: the action is bedded on an aluminum block, the barrel is free floated and the adjustable buttstock is fitted to the shooter.
The metal chassis gives a more solid connection between shooter and rifle, and it is engineered to improve accuracy and ergonomics through adjustability. The adjustable buttstock lets you tailor the fit so getting behind the scope is quick and natural.
The chassis uses short action AICS magazines and accepts standard and vertical AR-15 grips (the MDT Elite grip is included). The underside of the forend has an M-LOK surface for accessories, an optional ARCA rail can be added for tripod use, and the integrated barricade stop helps when shooting off barricades.
The chassis is machined from 6061 aluminum with a Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized finish. It weighs about 1.9 kg and measures 819 mm in length including the buttstock.
The Oryx is a popular choice for PRS and NRL Hunter matches, long range shooting and hunting from a rest or tripod.
