Marttiini Tähti Vuosipuukko 2027 is the 2027 annual knife inspired by a star-filled night sky. This large general-purpose knife is designed for versatile outdoor and everyday use, and this version is supplied in a cardboard package. The black handle, dark leather sheath and constellation engravings on the blade create a coherent design inspired by the Arctic night.
The blade is made from 1.2235 / 80CrV2 carbon steel with a hardness of HRC 59.5. The larger black birch handle takes inspiration from the classic Ilves handle and provides a secure grip and good control in a wide range of tasks. The bolster is made from stainless steel.
Both sides of the blade feature laser engravings depicting 12 constellations. The two-sided artwork on the sheath continues the same theme and creates a unified appearance with the knife.
The redesigned black chrome-tanned leather sheath offers versatile carry options. It can be worn on either side of the belt, making it suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
