Magpul Daka Soft Case SR44 is a water-resistant soft rifle case designed to be lightweight, flexible, and durable for demanding transport and storage needs. The case measures 112 x 30.5 x 7.6 cm (44 x 12 x 3 in) and serves well on the go, at the range, and during hunting when weight, speed, and adaptability are crucial. The DAKA Grit material and RF-welded seams provide protection against dirt, moisture, and wear, and the case is also optimized to fit into the DAKA Hard Case R44 (when the DAKA GRID is removed), offering additional protection for travel and lightweight flexibility at the destination.
The exterior of the case features two durable YKK Aquaguard zippers with easy-to-use, heat-shrink-tubing-reinforced 550 cord pulls. The bottom includes a MOLLE-style slotted base and five customizable DAKA Gear Straps, allowing secure attachment of a rifle, MOLLE-compatible pouches, and other gear. Inside the lid, there are four elastic mesh pockets that organize up to eight magazines compatible with PMAG 25 LR/SR GEN M3, along with a separate mesh organizer pocket for small accessories and a zippered pocket for additional items and documents (e.g., NFA paperwork, targets, manuals).
The DAKA Grit laminate consists of a 600D kiss-coat TPU front surface and TPU backing, bonded together with RF-welded seams to ensure durability and weather resistance. The structure is semi-rigid and fully lays flat for easy packing and handling. The exterior features an RF-welded ID card slot and a dot-matrix grid for custom markings. Carrying options are customizable as needed: two integrated carry handles and two hidden side attachment points for straps allow the use of QD sling swivels, Paraclips, MASH Hooks, or similar connectors for shoulder carry (shoulder strap not included).
