MoHair Skin 540mm climbing skins (pair) are intended for KARSKI XL 120cm and 145cm length sliding snowshoes. If the old climbing skins are worn out, you can easily replace them with new ones.
MoHair Skin climbing skins are 100% mohair, which provide excellent glide during push and grip in the kick area during thrust.

Replacement instructions:
Replacement is always best performed by a professional in the field! Remove the old and worn climbing skins. Remove old glue residues with, for example, a wax remover and let the surface dry. Glue the new climbing skins in place, starting the attachment from the tip towards the heel (note! install the climbing skin in the direction of glide). Place a cotton cloth over the newly installed climbing skin. Heat through the cotton cloth evenly by moving a hot iron (110°C), which activates the adhesive surface of the climbing skin and adheres it to the base. Do not keep the hot iron in place, as it will burn the surfaces!
