HIKMICRO NEOS NE25

HIKMICRO NEOS NE25 is a compact and lightweight thermal scope for hunting and observation in the dark. The model combines a 256 × 192-pixel thermal sensor, thermal sensitivity below 18 mK, a fast 25 mm F1.0 objective lens, and a detection range of up to 1200 metres in a traditional 30 mm tube design resembling a conventional riflescope. The NE25 is the lightweight option in the NEOS series for users who want a straightforward thermal scope without an integrated laser rangefinder.

The thermal image is based on a 256 × 192-pixel VOx sensor, 12 µm pixel pitch, and NETD below 18 mK. High thermal sensitivity helps distinguish small temperature differences, for example in damp, foggy, or otherwise low-contrast weather conditions. The 50 Hz frame rate keeps the image smooth both when moving the scope and when tracking a moving animal.

The 25 mm F1.0 objective lens provides 3.5× base magnification, with magnification extending up to 24.5×. The field of view is 7.0 × 5.3 degrees, or approximately 12.2 × 9.3 metres at a distance of 100 metres. This combination is particularly suitable for wooded and varied terrain, where quickly finding the target is often more important than an extremely high base magnification.

HIKMICRO's Image Pro 3.0, Zoom Pro, Sync Pro, and HSIS Shutterless technologies support thermal image detail and continuity. Image Pro 3.0 improves target-to-background distinction, Zoom Pro optimises the magnified image, and Sync Pro reduces system latency. Thanks to the HSIS system, the image does not need to be interrupted during observation as with conventional shutter calibration.

The thermal image is displayed on a large 0.49-inch 1920 × 1080-pixel AMOLED display. The long 55 mm eye relief supports comfortable use, while the -4...+4 dioptre adjustment allows the image to be adapted to the user's eyesight.

The NE25 features 64 GB of internal memory for recording videos, photos, and audio. Recoil-activated recording also makes it possible to document an event without having to start recording manually at exactly the right moment.

The power system combines an internal rechargeable battery and a replaceable 18650 battery. The manufacturer-rated operating time is up to 9.5 hours. With the replaceable battery, operating time can be extended in the field with a spare battery without a long charging break.

The traditional 30 mm tube allows the scope to be mounted in standard 30 mm scope rings. A weight of only approximately 540 grams keeps the setup lightweight, while IP67 protection and an operating temperature range of -30...+55 °C support use in varying hunting conditions.
