HikMicro Alpex 4K A50EL

HIKMICRO ALPEX 4K A50EL is a high-resolution digital day and night vision riflescope combining 4K image quality, an integrated laser rangefinder and ballistic calculation. Its traditional riflescope-style 30 mm tube makes it easy to mount with standard 30 mm scope rings.

The ALPEX 4K A50EL features a 3840 × 2160 UHD CMOS sensor and a 50 mm objective lens. The adjustable F1.2?F2.5 aperture allows the image to be optimised from bright daylight to low-light conditions. The large F1.2 aperture gathers light efficiently in poor lighting, while the smaller F2.5 aperture helps reduce overexposure in bright daylight and improves depth of field.

Base magnification is 3.5×, and digital zoom extends the magnification range up to 28×. The image is displayed on a sharp 1920 × 1080, 0.49-inch OLED display, while the 50 Hz frame rate provides smooth tracking of moving targets.

Integrated laser rangefinder

One of the key features of the A50EL is its integrated laser rangefinder. Its measuring range is 10?1000 metres, with a stated accuracy of ±1 metre. The rangefinder uses a 905 nm Class 1 eye-safe laser.

Distance can be measured either as a single reading or continuously. In continuous mode, the distance information is updated approximately once per second. The scope can also display THD (True Horizontal Distance), showing the actual horizontal distance to the target. This is particularly useful when the target is positioned clearly above or below the shooter.

Ballistic calculation

The ALPEX 4K A50EL includes an integrated ballistic calculator. The scope uses the precise distance measured by the laser rangefinder and calculates a recommended aiming point based on it.

The ballistic calculation can be configured with parameters such as the bullet drag model, muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient, sight height and environmental values including temperature and altitude. After the measurement, the scope displays the calculated aiming point and correction information related to the bullet trajectory.

The device can store five separate zeroing profiles, making it easier to use the scope with different loads or zeroing setups.

4K image quality by day and night

The 3840 × 2160 UHD sensor provides a highly detailed colour image in daylight. In darkness, the ALPEX works as a digital night vision riflescope and produces a clear black-and-white night image when used with an infrared illuminator.

The field of view at 100 metres is approximately 15.3 × 8.6 metres, and the minimum focusing distance is around 10 metres. The device starts quickly, in approximately three seconds, allowing it to be ready for use with minimal delay.

Recording, Wi-Fi and HIKMICRO Sight

The ALPEX 4K A50EL has 64 GB of built-in eMMC storage for photos and videos. Video can be recorded at resolutions up to 1920 × 1080, and audio recording is also supported.

The recoil-activated recording function can automatically capture events when a shot is fired. Photos and video files can be viewed directly on the device or transferred to a phone using the HIKMICRO Sight app. Built-in Wi-Fi also allows the device settings to be managed through the app.

Long operating time and replaceable battery

The power system combines internal rechargeable batteries with a replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery. The manufacturer states an operating time of up to 11 hours at 25 °C with the Wi-Fi hotspot switched off.

The USB-C port can be used for charging and data transfer. The replaceable 18650 battery can be changed in the field without having to immediately recharge the device's internal power source.
