Härkila Driven Hunt HWS Insulated Trousers are insulated hunting trousers for cold days on driven hunts and in the high seat. They feature a windproof and waterproof HWS (Härkila Weather System) 2-layer membrane that withstands sleet and rain, and warm 120 g Thermo Poly Shield Fill insulation.
The shell is a durable blend of polyester and polyurethane with a DWR treatment that repels water and dirt. A high back bib attached to braces covers a good part of the back and protects the lower back from the cold; both the bib and the braces are detachable. The elasticated rear waistband gives a good fit and keeps the warmth in.
There are two slanted zipped front pockets and two large flapped thigh pockets with low-noise magnetic closures. A cartridge holder sits in the right thigh pocket. Leg zips at the hem make the trousers easy to put on and take off, and they are covered by windproof and waterproof flaps. The ankles also have hook-and-loop adjustment.
