Guide Outdoor TU Scope Gen3 TU1260MS is a multispectral scope designed for demanding hunting use, combining an ultra-high 1280 × 1024 thermal imaging resolution with a 1920 × 1080 digital visible-light image channel. Thanks to its dual imaging systems, the same scope is suitable for observation in daylight, twilight and darkness, as well as in changing weather conditions.
The thermal channel of the TU1260MS is based on a 1280 × 1024 @ 12 µm thermal sensor with NETD thermal sensitivity of 15 mK. The high thermal resolution delivers a detailed image, while the manufacturer-rated detection range of the thermal channel is up to 3200 metres. This enables detection of targets across a wide area, even when conventional visible-light optics no longer provide a sufficient image.
In addition to thermal imaging, the device features a 1920 × 1080 @ 2.9 µm digital image sensor. Visible, Day, Night and Low-light operating modes complement thermal imaging and help with visual assessment of the target and surroundings whenever visible light is available.
The image is displayed on a large 1.03-inch 2560 × 2560 AMOLED display. The Hyper-Light image enhancement algorithm improves image clarity, contrast and detail definition. The long 60 mm eye relief makes viewing the aiming image comfortable even during extended use.
The TU1260MS also features a laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1500 metres. The 256 GB internal memory provides ample space for recordings, while recoil-activated recording can automatically save a video and image sequence associated with the shot. IP68 protection and recoil resistance of up to 6000 J are designed for demanding hunting use.
The power system combines internal batteries with a replaceable 18650 battery. According to the manufacturer, the TU Muo 3.0 system provides up to approximately 12 hours of operating time, and the external 18650 battery can be replaced to extend use.
