The GG&G AK-47 Scope Mount Quick Detach is a quick detach scope mount for AK-47 pattern rifles with a factory side-mounted receiver rail. The mount carries an approximately 156 mm long MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail for optics.
The tool-free accucam QD system allows easy attachment, removal and reattachment. In the manufacturer's tests, return to zero was 1/2 MOA or better when properly reinstalled. The lock is adjustable for a worn or out-of-tolerance side rail, and the lever has a serrated finger pad for a secure grip.
The body is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and hard anodized, while the QD mechanism is heat-treated 4130 steel with a manganese phosphate finish. All surfaces are matte black.
