Gerber Dime is a compact multi-tool that fits on a keychain but still contains an impressive selection of useful tools. The idea behind Dime is simple: always be ready. The small size and lightweight structure make it an ideal daily companion, always with you and within reach when something needs to be repaired, opened or cut.

The classic butterfly opening mechanism brings the spring-loaded needle-nose pliers quickly into use, as both handle halves fold to the sides. The spring-loaded jaws make working considerably easier, because the grip can be released naturally without having to actively open the handles with fingers. In addition to the pliers, you have wire cutters for cutting wires and cables.

The plain-edge knife adapts to various small cutting tasks. In addition, the Dime has a unique package opener designed to safely cut and slit plastic packaging – this is a particularly handy feature for everyday use, when a product from the store needs to be quickly removed from its packaging. Scissors handle more delicate work.

A medium flathead screwdriver helps tighten or loosen screws when an actual toolbox is not at hand. Tweezers are useful for example for handling splinters or small objects, and a file finishes rough edges. The bottle opener is designed so that it can be used even when the tool is folded – quick opening without having to open another tool.

The frame is made of stainless steel, which withstands use and looks stylish even after long use. The tool weighs just 62 grams.
