The angled patch plate attaches the cleaning patch to the rod in a controlled way, making it easier to thread the patch onto the rod?something that can be especially difficult with longer rods?and speeding up the cleaning process.

The guide is designed to align the cleaning rod precisely with the rifle bore, helping to prevent damage to both the firearm and the cleaning rod. This is achieved with the front self-centering, tapered rubber nose cone and the extended rear body structure. In practice, the guide supports the rod correctly throughout the entire cleaning stroke and helps protect the rifle?s chamber and bolt areas during cleaning.
