Bore Tech Bore Brite Lighting System is a firearm maintenance light designed for precise inspection of dark, tight and hard-to-see areas of firearms. This original and innovative lighting system offers convenient hands-free use, especially for illuminating the bore, bolt area and other points that need to be checked during firearm maintenance.
The system is based on a Streamlight Stylus LED penlight and two interchangeable tips designed to improve light output and make inspection easier. The white tip softens and directs the light onto the bore walls, allowing the condition of the inside of the barrel to be checked with clear, non-glare illumination. This helps detect any obstructions, dirt, debris or irregularities in the bore quickly and comfortably.
The white tip features a small but powerful rare-earth magnet that keeps the light securely in place at the bolt opening. This enables a steadier, hands-free inspection when viewing the bore from the muzzle end. The black tip, in turn, includes a flexible fiber-optic cable with a diameter of 3 mm and a length of 12.7 cm (5 inches), allowing bright white light to be directed into tight and enclosed spaces such as cartridge cases, trigger mechanisms and internal bolt components.
The Streamlight Stylus LED penlight features a water-resistant, machined aluminum body, an anodized finish and a secure, knurled grip. The high-intensity LED bulb has a solid-state construction and is rated for up to 100,000 hours of service life. The light provides up to 60 hours of run time, and three AAAA batteries are included.
