Bore Tech Action Clean Tool Kit Cent 2 Lug is a cleaning tool kit designed for thorough cleaning of the chamber, locking lug recesses, and action area of a bolt-action rifle. The patented Bore Tech Action Cleaning Tool Kit helps remove accumulated brass shavings, powder residue, dirt, bolt lug grease, and solvent residue from these areas, all of which can reduce operating reliability and increase wear on the bolt, locking lugs, and receiver.

The key advantage of the kit is the patented molded rubber wiper, which replaces awkward dental rolls and ineffective felt pads. Instructions for use: use the Action Cleaning Tool after cleaning the barrel. First clean the chamber with a correctly sized Bore Tech Chamber Mop: moisten the mop with cleaning solvent, insert it into the chamber, and rotate the mop to loosen dirt. When inserting the rod into the action area, slide the included rod centering collar forward into the receiver so that the rod is properly centered.

Follow-up cleaning is done with a clean and dry mop to remove remaining dirt and dry the chamber area. Then attach a cotton patch moistened with Bore Tech C4 Carbon Remover to the tip of the rubber Bolt Action Wiper. Carefully align the wiper with the action area and push the Action Cleaning Tool and Rod Collar into the receiver until the locking lug recess is reached.

When cleaning the locking lug recesses, gently rotate the tool in the locking lug area while applying light pressure against the breech end and pulling rearward against the receiver surface. Repeat the process as needed with a damp cleaning patch until the area is clean. Tip: insert the wiper 2.5-5.1 cm (1-2 inches) into the action area and mark the 12 o?clock position on the rod with a marker. When cleaning is complete and before pulling the wiper out of the locking lug recess, turn the handle so that the mark is visible in the 12 o?clock position. This aligns the wiper with the receiver and makes removal easier.

For finishing, repeat the cleaning with a clean patch until the patch comes out clean and dry. Also remember to clean the bolt and bolt face with Bore Tech Blast Degreaser and a Gun Brush. Finally, Extreme Grease HD can be applied to the rear of the locking lugs and the bolt shroud according to the manufacturer?s instructions.
