Aimpoint Micro H-2 2 MOA Weaver/Picatinny is a compact red dot sight supplied ready to use with an Aimpoint Micro Standard Mount for Weaver/Picatinny rails. It is suitable for hunting and sport shooting when fast aiming, a small overall size and long battery life are priorities.
The 2 MOA red dot offers a good balance between speed and precision. 1x magnification and unlimited eye relief allow aiming with both eyes open without requiring precise eye placement behind an eyepiece. Aimpoint describes the sight as practically parallax-free, so the dot does not need to be perfectly centred in the sight tube in the same way as with a riflescope.
The Micro H-2 has 12 brightness settings for daylight and low-light use. The model is not night vision compatible. The manufacturer states a battery life of up to 50,000 hours for the CR2032 battery at setting 8, allowing the sight to remain ready for use for long periods.
The housing is made from high-strength aluminium and the sight is water resistant to a depth of 5 metres. Aimpoint's advanced lenses and multi-layer coatings are designed to improve light transmission and dot clarity. With the mount fitted, total weight is approximately 130 g, and the optical axis is 20 mm above the top surface of the rail.
