Aimpoint Micro H-2 2 MOA is a compact and lightweight red dot sight for hunting and sport shooting. The 2 MOA red dot, unlimited eye relief and 1x magnification support fast aiming with both eyes open, while the dot is still small enough for more precise aiming at longer distances than a larger red dot.
The Micro H-2 is Aimpoint's second-generation Micro model. Its reinforced aluminium housing, advanced lens coatings and transparent flip-up lens covers are designed for active field use. According to the manufacturer, the sight is water resistant to a depth of 5 metres and has an operating temperature range of -30...+60 degrees C.
The brightness of the 2 MOA dot is adjusted with a rotary switch, with 12 brightness settings for daylight and low-light use. The Micro H-2 is not night vision compatible. Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery, for which Aimpoint states an operating time of up to 50,000 hours at setting 8 at room temperature.
This product number is the version supplied without a mount. The sight weighs approximately 94 g without a mount, adding very little mass to the firearm. A suitable Aimpoint Micro-compatible mount is required for installation.
