Aimpoint 9000L 2 MOA is a full-length red dot sight designed for hunting and particularly suited to rifles with standard- and magnum-length actions. The tubular design allows the use of two 30 mm scope rings, making the 9000L a natural choice for a traditional hunting rifle.
The 2 MOA red dot provides a small, clear aiming point. Magnification is 1x and eye relief is unlimited, allowing the sight to be used with both eyes open without precise eye placement behind an eyepiece. Aimpoint designed the 9000L especially for fast hunting situations.
Dot brightness is adjusted with a 10-position rotary switch. According to the manufacturer, one DL1/3N battery provides up to 50,000 hours of operation. Long battery life allows the sight to remain ready for use for extended periods.
The 9000L weighs approximately 227 g without mounts and is water resistant to a depth of 5 metres. The model uses the durable basic construction familiar from Aimpoint's Comp series but has a long rear tube designed for mounting with two rings.
