Wapsi Pine Squirrel Tail

Wapsi Pine Squirrel Tails are perhaps the most traditional material, for example, for hair-winged harling or casting flies. Squirrel is also often used as an underwing because of its stiffness. The mottled and broken shades of the hair please both the angler and the fish. The pine squirrel is small, and its hair, also in the tail, is the softest of all squirrels, so you can tie very well-swimming and sparsely winged flies from it. It is an ever-popular material that offers the fly tyer a good wing and tail material at a good price.
