Scientific Anglers Mastery ART fly lines are so-called "all-round lines". The ART abbreviation stands for All Round Taper, which describes the line very well. The line is half a class heavier, making it very easy to cast, and the taper is designed to work well in most situations encountered. The short front taper turns over large flies but is not too steep for small dry flies. The relatively long belly and moderately steep rear taper improve the line's roll casting properties.

Scientific Anglers Mastery ART fly line has a braided, non-stretch core, which allows for better hook sets and maintains a good feel for the fish. The line uses AST coating, which enables longer casts as the line runs better through the rod guides. Improved Dry Tip Technology keeps the line tip better afloat, allowing you to detect even the smallest strikes from the line's movement.
