The line is specifically designed for tropical conditions and is built on a durable 65 lb core. The line comes with 100 lb braided loops for ease of use. The line is also weighted one line weight heavier to load quickly and allow for casting large flies over long distances.

Cleaning the line with soap and water removes most dirt, but cleaning pads work even better. A cleaned line casts better and lasts longer, so a few minutes of maintenance is definitely worth it. When using a cleaning pad, pull the line through the pad with light tension until the line's color starts to show on the pad. Clean the line every 2-3 uses or whenever dirt hinders its performance.
