Keep your line clean by washing it with soap and water or using cleaning pads that more effectively remove dirt. A clean line casts better and lasts longer. When using a cleaning pad, squeeze the pad around the line so that the abrasive side touches the line, and pull the line through the pad under tension. Repeat until the pad shows the color of the line. Clean the line every 2-3 uses or whenever dirt hinders its performance.
