Sage Arrow Rod

Sage Arrow Rod is a single-handed fly rod designed for versatile fly fishing in changing fishing conditions. Insect hatches, the location of fish feeding activity, and changing weather conditions continually present anglers with new challenges, and the Arrow series meets them with a broad range of applications and a balanced combination of power and feel.

The Arrow excels at casting and animating large, heavily hackled dry flies with the 690-4 model, as well as actively retrieving large streamers with the 890-4 model. The lightweight and strong, fast-action graphite blank delivers controlled power, precise feel, and effortless versatility across different fly-fishing techniques.

The rod’s performance is based on KonneticHD technology and a high-density HO fiber composite. This construction improves blank recovery speed, energy transfer, and control of the fly line and casting loop. Its responsive fast action helps create controlled casts and adapt to different flies and fishing situations.

The Flint-coloured blank, olive thread wraps, and gunsmoke trim wraps create a classic, understated appearance. The rod features hard chrome snake guides and tip-top, along with a Fuji ceramic stripping guide. A walnut reel seat insert completes the finish, while fighting butt models use a matte nickel-bronze insert.

Arrow rods are handcrafted in the USA. The rod is supplied with a premium black rod bag with a quick-lock drawstring and an aluminium rod tube with a Sage medallion, protecting the rod during storage and transport.
