Loop Ström Double-Hand Rod

Loop Ström Double-Hand Rod is a double-hand fly rod for modern two-handed fishing for Atlantic salmon, sea trout and steelhead. It works with a wide range of lines from shooting heads and Skagit systems to long-belly spey lines.

Ström is Loop's most advanced fly rod series. The blank combines the seven-sided (heptagonal) cross section first used in the 7X rods with high-grade M40X carbon fibre. The result is a light, strong rod with fast recovery that tracks accurately through the cast.

The handle is premium Flor cork and the guides are custom REC Cerecoil guides. The machined, embossed reel seat with speed threads and locking nuts holds the reel securely without adding unnecessary weight.

All models are 4-piece rods with a medium fast action. Choose length and line weight to suit the size of the river and the flies you fish.
