Does this even need to be separately praised? Supertinsel is probably synonymous with trout streamer fishing for many, and for good reason. It works diversely with different techniques: floated freely upstream or quickly stripped in front of the fish, across the current, or with traditional downstream techniques. Although Supertinsel is essentially a simple tinsel tie, achieving the perfect shape is an art form in itself, and flies sold as supertinsel seem to be available for every occasion. These ties look and swim just as we think they should.
