Hedron Flashabou Original is still considered by many to be the best flash material - the standard against which other manufacturers' products are compared. The flash is very soft, so it comes alive with even the slightest water movement. The bag contains approximately 1700 Hedron Flashabou strands, approximately 25 cm long.
Flashabou is suitable for the original Supertinsel as well as for salmon and pike flies. The pearl-based colors are slightly stiffer than the other colors. For example, for making pike tinsels the traditional silver color is better suited than the pearl colors because of its softer structure: http://ruotoblog.com/2013/03/02/tinseli-ja-ruma-salaisuus/
