As the river clears and temperatures rise you can look to fish this pattern high in the water column and at speed. Coupled with a long tapered leader its a great Summer and Autumn fly and an outstanding pattern fly for educated salmon. This fly will also produce sea trout in the right conditions. Silver-Con fly is tied with top quality materials and features Future Fly brass Hybrid cones in Silver. 5 cm wing length (1 cm - 3/8” tube) fly has 4mm cone head and 8 cm fly (2 cm - 4/5” tube) has 6mm. Flies are tied on tubes with enough room inside for you to push the tube hook into the tube if you prefer that rather than a free swinging hook.
