4D Distance- frames are a longer option for 4D frames and are well suited for longer rods and longer casts. Distance frames are at their best in 13-17 foot rods and are about 1.5m longer than regular 4D frames. With Distance frames, you achieve a shooting head total length of about 12-14 meters, depending on the tip used, and heavier options have been added to the top of the series.
4D Distance Bodies are built on a Direct Contact core, which flexes only 6%, and all models have super durable 42lb tensile strength cores that withstand the largest salmon, steelheads, and chinooks. All frames are equipped with color-coded sleeves, from the end where they are connected to the tips, and at the rear end, you will find printed line details for easy line identification. All lines are equipped with small coated factory loops and are welded using the market's strongest and most durable coating. The lines are made from materials that are less burdensome to nature, and their coatings use a strong Polyurethane surface.
- Dual Density Float - A frame made from two different densities, with the rear part floating higher. A floating frame built in this style transmits casting energy more effectively.
