Grimman Squirmy Worm Body

Grimman Squirmy Worm Body is a soft and lively synthetic material made of elastic silicone. It has been developed for various worm-imitating flies and has become known through the Squirmy Wormy fly. Especially in competition fishing circles, materials like this have proven their effectiveness many times. At its simplest, a piece of Worm Body is tied in at the middle of the hook, and the fly is then drifted freely with the current. Twitches add extra triggering action to the retrieve, and the material also works in stillwater flies; we recommend trying it for tarpon, sea trout and perch alike. The material comes alive beautifully with even the slightest twitch, and fish evidently find it interesting to chew on.
