Fly Makers Wax n.4 Black Cobblers

Hareline Fly Makers Wax nr4  Black Cobblers  has been used in fly tying to protect silk tying threads and to alter the color of the thread in the finished fly.  One of the most popular flies that calls for this method is the Greenwell's Glory.  To apply, warm a pea sized ball of wax between your fingers.  Draw the desired length of thread between the wax ball and your finger until the desired color is attained.
