The SUPERRAPTOR 3S has two separate light types: a bright, long-reaching spotlight and a floodlight that illuminates a wide area. They can be used separately or simultaneously, giving both long reach and a wide beam at the same time. The lamp also has a powerful red light with three brightness levels (2 lm, 30 lm and 120 lm). The red light preserves night vision and is ideal for night-time nature observation, hiking and discreet work in the dark.
The SUPERRAPTOR 3S red light is designed to preserve night vision and is also well suited to demanding military and reservist situations. There are three red-light levels: 2, 30 and 120 lumens. The dimmed 2-lumen mode is especially suitable for authorities and military use, while the brighter modes provide enough light for hunting, nature observation or photography, for example.
The updated mode order of the rotary switch makes the lamp easier and faster to use. Lighting and brightness modes can be changed in as little as 0.1 seconds. The durable rotary switch and electronic push button work reliably even in the cold, and the lamp automatically remembers the last-used brightness level.
The HM75R SUPERRAPTOR 3S headlamp has two energy modes that determine how the battery's energy is used. You can choose whether to maximise runtime or light output.
The SUPERRAPTOR 3S automatically adjusts its output when the illuminated object is close. This prevents surfaces from overheating and makes use safer.
The HM75R SUPERRAPTOR 3S can be attached to cycling and work helmets with the separately available Fenix ALG-03 V2.0 helmet mount. For authority and military helmets we recommend the ALG-04 helmet mount. Quick-release straps make switching mounts fast and easy.
The SUPERRAPTOR 3S uses a powerful rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery. The lamp can also be used with CR123A batteries, which provide extra security for emergencies and extremely cold conditions, down to -40 °C. The included Fenix ARB-L18-3500 Li-ion battery works reliably down to -20 °C.
The separately available POWER EXTENDER power pack extends runtime up to 447 hours and ensures the light does not go out at an important moment. It also works as a power bank for other USB-C devices such as a phone or GPS device.
