The Pig Shad Junior 20cm 50g

Pig Shad Junior is a pike lure from the well-known pike lure manufacturer, CWC, which has gained legendary status. An extremely versatile and fish-catching lure with a wide color chart, offering a color for every water body and condition. In recent years, Pig Shad Junior has also gained a reputation among anglers targeting large zander.

Pig Shad Junior weighs 50g and is 20cm long. It is therefore still easily castable with spinning gear. However, remember to check your rod's lure recommendation before casting! ;) In cross-section, Pig Shad is a wide oval, just like The Pig jerkbait. The large "paddle tail" swims powerfully even with a slow retrieve.

Pig Shad has a more lively swimming action than normal shads. With your own style, you can give this lure unique movements, and at Ruoto, we recommend trying to rig the lure with a few grams of additional weight, for example by wrapping lead wire around the hook wires. This way, you can make the Pig Shad sink faster, and during pauses, the Pig Shad first hovers in place for a moment and then starts to sink head first. The rubber of the Pig Shad is just soft enough to create lively swimming action, but not too soft to kill casting distance.
