The Pig Shad Giant 26cm 130g

Pig Shad Giant is the well-known pike lure manufacturer CWC's answer to the latest call from pike anglers, namely "shad fishing". The design of the Pig Shad is based on some of the oldest and most well-known pike jerks on the market, namely The Pig jerks.

Pig Shad Giant weighs 130g and is 26cm long. It is therefore still suitable for casting with basic pike rods, but we recommend getting a stiff rod, for example, an 8-foot rod for casting pike rubber fish. In cross-section, the Pig Shad is a wide oval, just like The Pig jerk. The large "paddle tail" swims powerfully even with slow retrieval.

The profile of the Pig Shad Giant is considerably wider than many other rubbers of the same size class. With your own handwriting, you can give this lure personal movements, and we recommend trying to rig the lure with a few grams of additional weight, for example, by wrapping lead wire around the hook wires. This way, you can make the Pig Shad Giant sink faster, and in jerks, the Pig Shad Giant first hovers in place for a moment and then starts to sink head first. The rubber of the Pig Shad is just soft enough to create lively swimming, but not too soft to kill casting distance.
