Shimano TX Intensity Spod & Marker 2pc is specifically designed for long-range spodding and marker float use. This rod enables accurate and long-distance casting of heavy spod loads and clear transmission of bottom contours for marking.

The rod blank is made using Shimano Spiral X Core carbon fiber technology, which, combined with the "Intensity" action, reduces blank twisting and ovalization under load. This improves accuracy, especially at extreme distances. The rod is lightweight yet extremely strong, and its action is specifically designed for long-distance casting.

There are two rod models available: 12' and 13', both with a 5 lb Intensity test curve. This ensures sufficient power for extreme long-distance casting.
