The Purist PX1 Deadbait series includes three models tailored for different fishing needs. The shorter 10’ (305 cm) pike model is suitable for smaller Shimano Baitrunner reels for close-range fishing, boat fishing, or small waters. The longer 12’ pike model offers more power and casting distance, making it suitable for larger Shimano Baitrunner reels. The zander model, which is 8’10” (270 cm), is lighter with a lure recommendation of up to 15 g, making it ideal for smaller baits and providing a forgiving fishing experience.
At the core of the rods is a full carbon blank that combines power and flexibility. The pike models can handle casting large deadbaits, while the zander model offers a soft and smooth action. All models feature a full cork handle, custom DPS reel seat, and Shimano Hardlite guides, emphasizing the classic look.
