Kuusamo Puukala

Kuusamon Puukala is a legendary pike lure made from redwood. This lure is handcrafted in Finland from start to finish. The lure craftsmen first turn the body and then paint the fishing surfaces on the lure. Our current collection includes decades-old classic colors as well as some newer patterns. Puukala swims with a delicate, small ticking style like a skittish prey fish. This irritates the pike, especially if you remember to make a few stops during the retrieval. Then it imitates a small fish swimming unaware of the pike danger. You can adjust Puukala's swimming by setting the lure's lip to different positions. Puukala is above all a signature lure. If you don't want to just reel it in, you can give it your desired swimming style by waving the rod. In addition to pike, Puukala can catch big perch. A special mention is the Finnish record perch, which was caught in Åland a few years ago. It weighed 2.8 kg.
