CAB Lure Varnishes are designed for the surface treatment of wooden and plastic-bodied lures. CAB Lure Varnishes can be used for priming the lure as well as a topcoat over the paint. CAB varnishes are highly resistant to lake and seawater, making them excellent for use as a topcoat for lures and various baits. Ensure adhesion to the specific material on plastic surfaces.
CAB Lure Varnishes come in four different qualities: Regular is the most popular and leaves a smooth, very glossy film on the lure's surface. Hard creates a harder surface on the lure, so we recommend it for soft materials. Matte is a matte varnish that gives a fully matte surface, for example, to your salmon lure. White is a white varnish used for priming.
The thinning ratio for CAB Lure Varnishes is 20-50%, depending on the dipping technique. Ensure ventilation and use a respirator and protective gloves.
