The boot has a lower weight due to the canvas reinforcing fabric and thus has a slightly thinner rubber thickness of 1.8 mm rather than 2.0 mm which is standard for the other Arxus rubber boots. Direct boot penetration leg injuries can be avoided more efficiently due to the canvas design on the boot shaft.
The Riri zip running down the rear of the boot shaft makes the boot very comfortable, with the possibility of providing air at any time if required. The metal clamping strap lock helps to hold the boot securely and comfortably in place. Arxus Primo Canvas Zip is equipped with the same Arxus sole that ensures a stable grip, as with the other full length zip models in the range.
After a period of use the canvas fabric will take on a personal ‘patina’ look. Primo Canvas Zip is lined with 2 mm black neoprene. The 2 mm thick neoprene creates comfort, shock absorption and an adequate insulation. A removable anatomic felt lined EVA-sole increases the isolation against the ground. To avoid a tear out effect of the lining Primo Canvas Zip is fitted with an essential leather-like reinforcement at the heel inside the boot.
