Saxa Predator and Shadow bow motors entered the market in early 2025. These motors are the result of joint product development between Ruoto's staff and the manufacturing factory, and their features are specifically designed for Nordic conditions. All motors are saltwater-protected, so you can use them confidently both at sea and in inland waters. During 2025, approximately 550 of our customers acquired a Saxa motor, and the feedback has been almost entirely positive. Therefore, we dared to take the next step in our project and bring to market a 24-volt bow electric motor with an unbeatable price/quality ratio!
The Saxa Shadow features a powerful electric motor with 85 pounds of thrust, operating at 24 volts and equipped with a 60-inch shaft. The Saxa GPS antenna in the Shadow bow motors is precise and reliable. The motor is controlled with the included rainproof remote control, which offers two convenient carrying options: a neck strap and a belt loop. The remote control has a built-in rechargeable battery and is easily charged with the USB charging cable included in the package. A single charge provides power for several fishing days.
The Saxa Shadow motor can be controlled not only with the Bluetooth remote control but also with the Helmsman phone app. With the same phone app, you can also plan and draw fishing routes and conveniently install motor software updates. The Helmsman phone app uses Google maps and satellite images for navigation.
The Saxa Shadow bow motor is easy to install on the bow of the boat. It can be mounted permanently or with the Saxa Shadow Quick Release Bracket, available as an accessory, made of durable nylon.
