MaxLi Lithium Ion Battery - are a great new addition to the lithium battery market. These batteries are specifically designed for boating use and are excellent for electric bow motors, electric outboard motors, and all boat electronics. 
Maxli Marine 12V 60Ah and 12V 100Ah batteries have a Bluetooth application, which makes it easy for you to monitor the battery status during the day. You quickly get information on how much power and voltage is in the battery, but the application also tells you, for example, the battery's operation, temperature, charge cycles, and any warnings that have come to the battery's BMS controller. The MaxLi Marine BMS controller manages the battery's operation and prevents the battery from being completely discharged or overcharged, making lithium batteries significantly longer-lasting and therefore always a more economical solution than AGM batteries.  

All MaxLi Marine batteries are LifePo4 lithium batteries and are therefore very durable and long-lasting. You can charge MaxLi Marine batteries about 3000 times from empty to full, so we can at least talk about a long-term investment. LifePo4 material is durable and, although slightly heavier in mass than other Li-Ion materials, LifePo4 withstands stress very well and is therefore extremely safe and durable. You can practically use 100% of the battery, making it comparable to a much larger AGM, lead, or gel battery. The MaxLi Marine 12V 60Ah weighs about 8kg and corresponds in power to over a 100Ah AGM battery and about a 120Ah lead battery. An AGM or lead battery of equivalent power size weighs about 25-30kg.

  We recommend Victron 12V 15A IP65 or Victron 12V 17A IP67 mains chargers for these batteries.

Please note that depending on the electronics, you can take power from the same 12V lithium battery for the bow motor/electric outboard motor as for the fish finders. However, this must be tested, as it cannot be said for sure with all devices whether there will be interference or not.
MaxLi Marine is not suitable as a starter battery for outboard motors.

You can install MaxLi Marine batteries on their side, but we always recommend a battery base and upright installation, as current lithium batteries are so light that waves and impacts on the water, as well as rapid accelerations and water braking, can damage the battery. The battery comes with a carrying handle and clearly marked battery terminal bolts. 

Charging the battery:
Please note that lithium batteries should always be charged with a charger that has a lithium function. We recommend Victron 12V system 17A or 15A and 24V system 12A chargers, which are excellent smart chargers for charging and maintenance. Always use at least 10A chargers. If the charger is permanently placed in the boat, remember to choose a charger that withstands moisture.

Winter storage and other important information:
Lithium batteries are not stored fully charged, about 60-80% charge is a suitable level. Charge the battery fully and leave the battery without connecting it to a maintenance charger. Under normal conditions and room temperature during the winter, the battery will not discharge completely, as the monthly discharge is small. The battery discharges itself on average 3% per month. The storage temperature should not go below -15%, so it is not recommended to store the battery in a cold garage or boat to prevent damage to the BMS controller.

Bluetooth connection to mobile phone - Bluetooth connection from Maxli 12V 40Ah size onwards. Batteries under 40Ah do not have a Bluetooth connection.
You can download the MaxLi Marine application to your mobile phone and use it to check, for example, the voltage, the amount of current as a percentage, the battery temperature, the general condition of the battery, or the number of cycles used, as the battery has built-in Bluetooth. A handy additional feature that allows you to ensure how much power is available for a fishing day or what the power consumption of your electrical devices is.
The Bluetooth connection works with the UMXLI Battery application on Apple or Android phones and tablets.
