Ruoto Universal Aluminum Battery Base - has been updated from a perennial favorite to a new one! This battery base is open at the ends, so it fits almost all the batteries we use in boats and motorhomes perfectly! The battery base is designed to keep modern batteries in place on the boat. For lithium batteries, it is important that the lightweight batteries do not move in the boat's box during driving or take hard hits when trailering the boat. Batteries do not need a closed box because modern batteries do not contain liquid, and batteries should not be enclosed in a closed space where their temperature might rise. Therefore, an open battery base is the best solution.

These battery bases are made in Finland and built to last.
